Retail Electronic Security Case Study

Project Overview:

The client, a shoe retailer located in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, required an Electronic Security System that provides CCTV Surveillance, Alarm and Access Control functionality for the retail premises within a shopping centre. With multiple retail outlets across Melbourne, the system was required to be compatible and integrate.

 

Challenges:

Theft Deterrence: The retail store needed a robust CCTV Surveillance System to deter theft and monitor suspicious activities both within the store and at the entrance.

Access Regulation: Access control was required for both the entrance and storeroom to prevent unauthorized entry and secure inventory.

Solution:

Australian Security designed and implemented a tailored security solution to meet the requirements of the retail store:

CCTV Surveillance System: High resolution CCTV Surveillance System cameras were strategically installed throughout the store premises to provide comprehensive coverage and monitor all areas of the store, including retail floor, cash register, entrance and storage areas. The visible presence of surveillance cameras acted as a deterrent to theft and unauthorized activities whilst maintaining surveillance coverage.

Integrated Alarm System: An integrated alarm system was deployed to provide intrusion detection and immediate alerts in the event of unauthorized access or security breaches.
